Do you all buy only things that have free return shipping or just swallow the loss if it doesn't fit? Would love to order things for my teen, but not too many things have free returns...

It's a risk .. I don't buy for myself cuz most things run small. Between being busty from nursing, I'm just afraid. If you have someone to sell it to, it may be worthwhile. Friend, neighbor with a different figure.
If your buying Ali specials teen stuff follow her size chart and you should be fine.
Shoes from Ali specials came. DC was between sizes and I sized up. It should work with a tongue pad. Take true size, size up (double check size chart) and you should be fine.

I usually don't buy for myself, unless I'm ready to risk losing $...
For my kids, I usually buy from AliVibes. The stuff all run the same as the original brand, so I never had an issue with sizing. (and they have a size chart on their site)
