Yanky and Shabbos, of course. Not sure if anyone identified the line I provided from that many pages ago.

There's a very special man
In a very special place
There is wisdom in his eyes
And a smile upon his face
In yeshiva he's our rebbe
He's our rebbe...?
(I hope I didn't bungle the words too much)

1. Maybe we can get together sometime and I can teach you the art of torture
2. What in the world is that? Who lit those noisemakers?

That's another from Kivi and Tuki but not sure which one. It's not the original, and it makes a brief appearance on goodbye. Was there more than one between the original and goodbye?

That's another country yossi and I never understood the Yiddish parts. Need to start a spinoff because I always wanted to know

You can read the lyrics here:
THE RABBI- Country Yossi- Wanted!
(Parody Of “The Gambler”- Kenny Rogers- Composed By Don Schlitz
https://www.jyrics.com/lyrics/the-rabbi/
If you know yiddish maybe seeing the words will help. Google translate does translate to and from yiddish but it's very hit or miss (mostly miss)

On a warm summer’s evening,
On a ride to Monticello,
I sat next to a rabbi,
We were both too tired to sleep,
So we took turns at staring,
Out the window to the darkness,
Till boredom overtook us,
And he began to speak.
He said, (translation to follow)
[Yes, I'm an old man, and my bones hurt,
And since my beard is long and gray
I have seen a lot in my day.
So hand over some schnapps, and I'll give you some good advice
Because I can tell from your face that you have gone through a lot (lit: what has happened with you]
So I handed him my bottle,
And he drank down my last swallow,
Then he mooched a cigarette,
And asked me for a light,
And the night got deathly quiet,
And his face lost all expressions..
He said,
[Now I'm gonna tell you,
The yesod (foundation) of yiddishkeit ]
CHORUS:
[ You gotta know when to buy,
You gotta know when to run,
Know when to do a turn good
And when to deal just fine
Better not to talk about things which Should be left unsaid [lit: better not to talk about that which you don't have to]
Yes, it's good to travel, but even better to stay at home.
[Every smart person knows
That a Yid must be besimcha
Thank the Borei Olam, for all that you have
And hold the Torah dear
Because a fire burns within it
And give a lot of tzedaka,
Because parsnassa comes from G-d]
And when he finished speaking,
He turned back to the window,
Said Borei Nefashos,
And faded off to sleep,
And somewhere in the darkness,
My soul, it started burning,
For in his final words,
I found a strength that I could keep.
CHORUS:

Wow, thank you so much. So many times I heard that song (it sounded nice enough to not skip it...) without realy understanding what was going on.
How about the last line of "beep beep"? That's another one that always puzzled me. You get through the whole song building up to something and then it goes past in yiddish (I think. Or maybe just inaudible to me?)

Beep Beep is from a different Country Yossi song.
