I am still looking into options for my ds this year. I want to try to get him into a pre nursery. Has anyone heard of Kalish? I know they have a cheder, do they have a pre nursery? If you know anything at all about this cheder please let me know. My dh said he never heard of it, but I know it's around, I just need to hear about it.

at this point, I am so mixed up with the names, but I know for sure that either kalish or kasho has a cheder. I know for a fact cuz 1. I saw a little school bus with one of those names on it. 2. I saw an advertisement for one of them in the weekly link.
I am just going crazy trying to decide what to do with my ds for this year. send him to a playgroup that will cost an arm and a leg, or try to get him into a prenursery of a neutral chasiddishe cheder... problem is, not all of them have...

the name of the cheder is Kalish.. not Kasho.. anyone have any info? it is in Flatbush..

its a chassidish yeshiva but on Coney & J because that's where they found a building. The classes are very small, therefore children with special needs can get extra attention until the Yeshiva grows.

It is smaller at this point, most kids are from bp, and the moms all seem happy.

bais simcha on 10th ave is very good. mrs glick runs it.
kalish has parents that are modern chasidish. if your intersted you might be very happy. they weare a shtreimel but they have open access to internet. I dont know if they even ask if the parents have internet. though the parents are happy.
