When is the camp going to send out a list of what to bring?
Specifically for Bnos Ruach Chaim - what do I need to know to send along? What type of pajamas, sweatshirts, linen do the girls bring? What are the extras that girls will have? Chair? Lululemon belt bag? What else?

Lululemon?
BRC is the last camp that cares about designer ANYTHING.

is their anyway to find past campers who went 2022?
I called my niece who spoke to my daughter and tried to teach her the "culture", the unspoken wardrobe necessities...

past campers can identify the best with what your daughter needs to feel "in"

We'll have to disagree on that one. Very Happy

From someone that works at the camp.

The "right" clothes. From the "right" stores that have the "right" companies like Hardtail. The "right" sneakers. I lose track of what's in every year but they aren't cheap.

Ask any of your dd's friends that go to BRC. The girls can tell you in a heartbeat.

Hardtail?
BRC families are super yeshivish with most girls comimg from families where the parents are in Klei Kodesh. Hardtail may exist but is definitely NOT a thing there, neither is there a pressure to dress in designer clothes or expensive clothes. Its just a fun happy place where nobody blinks if youre dressed in last years styles.

I don't think there's a single camp that has zero peer pressure for designer items even super yeshivish klei kodesh etc girls want trendy brand name things. I'm sure there are girls with designer things there.
That said majority of the girls are not walking around in designer clothes and its not as much as a 'thing' as it is elsewhere.

My girls go there and you better believe there's peer pressure of having the right clothes and shoes and sweatshirts etc .. it's never ending I go crazy from all the stuff they "must" buy. Unfortunately the really yeshivish girls all wear
brand names like hardtail.... Why is $150 for a long denim skirt normal for a girl to take to camp?!?! I wish the camp would crack down on the excessive spending that's done for camp and make some rules about what you bring to lessen the pressure for the parents!

Thank you for the lists!

Shower caddy like a mesh tote bag or hard basket?
Slides and natives or both?
What do the girls wear to sleep?

I have no clue what hardtail is

For clothing, she can bring some sets and some tshirts/long skirts?
Can anyone link a long skirt that typical girls wear for less than $20 or that doesn't exist?

That might be how it started and what the price point would lead you to believe but unfortunately it’s not the way it is anymore.

Pajamas: leggings and short sleeve tshirts. We got at old navy
Shower caddy is mesh
I think both slides and natives
Long skirts less than $20? No way
good luck finding that
