All the frum colleges for girls seem to all have the same 6 program options (speech therapy, social work, OT, computers, and ABA)

Wondering of other career ideas of things that are manageable for a frum lifestyle but aren't difficult to learn in schooling.

Cybersecurity seems to be decent but very complicated and boring to learn.

What is not difficult to learn but yet pays decent salary and is good for a frum person to go in to?

Would so appreciate any and all ideas.

Btw I don’t do any of the above. But the road I took is not one I’d recommend for a young frum girl it was extremely difficult and took ALOT of intestinal fortitude, as of now I’m still the only frum girl who ever went through the program and I’m many wrinkles past girlhood

Those are classics for a reason: they work well with both holidays and motherhood.

What skills and interests do you have? Look for a career that uses your talents and has flexible hours.

Highly discourage girls from going into OT/ PT / slp. The pay scale has not gone up in 20 years, so what used. To be Thought of as a good salary- is not any more. It’s a very labor intensive job, little room for growth , and so much paperwork.

Just putting it out there -

Not all accountants work in tax. Audit has different deadlines that don't coincide with yom tov, and private accounting have completely different deadlines as well.

Then there's the freelancing/opening your own business route, which allows for the ultimate flexibility especially as a family grows. Most just need a course, not a degree or anything.

Op when you say “computers” are you talking about a specific field like programming? Or anything done on a computer like web design, graphics, etc also?

Best is to figure out what the person in question would enjoy and be good at and at the same time bring in money. Doesn’t matter what other ppl do.
