Charming are not good for the pipes. They clog the system.

There are special dispensers for it too

Never had an issue.

Jewish precut toilet paper is like sandpaper and you need to use a wad to gain traction. Sort of defeats the purpose as the wad will surely clog pipes.

Many brands of regular tissues are not septic safe - they aren’t designed to break down when wet like toilet paper, and the absorbency level of tissue can cause wads of it to get stuck and clog pipes creating blockages.

And “flushable wipes”, despite the name, are not actually flushable Can't Believe It

In Israel all chareidi supermarkets sell precut toilet paper as well as facial tissues.
I use facial tissues as precut TP is too small.

I remember this from my school days. We actually got some during the shortages during lockdown out of desper. It feels like waxed paper. We used to carry tissues to use.

Next time someone asks on here, what gift can they take back from Israel to their friends and relatives, we can suggest pre-cut toilet paper!

I see someone already said it but there is pre-cut toilet paper and israel. I don't know if it's comparable to Charmin that's for sure. But it's pretty decent. not so expensive and quite convenient

we cut our own it's a Friday activity for one of my kids that and paper towels. we put the pre cut toilet paper in a nice box and put away the roll so nobody gets confused or forgets. It takes about five minutes to cut a roll sometimes we do two rolls and then we have leftovers for the next week.

regular tissues do clog pipes, ask any plumber, they are not made to disintegrate as toilet paper does

You can cut a ton of charmin in advance to the length you want and keep it in a box and add to it when you feel it is getting low (if you do not like the feel of other precut like kosher innovations shabbos toilet paper)
while tissues may work for a while over time they do clog the pipes so really not worth it
