It removes the paint. It'll be whatever color is underneath the paint- which you can see on the inside of the shoe.

Clever idea! Has anyone tried it?

I got a few pairs that are blue with pink flamingoes and I don’t like the pattern at all.

Apply generously and wrap in plastic. Let it sit a few minutes. Rub the plastic around a bit and remove. This should take off quite a bit of paint. Wipe off whatever you can with paper towel. Repeat from beginning a second time if not enough paint came off. Then take a paper towel with some citristrip on it and use it to wipe off whatever is still there.

If you're ok with solid white with a green sole you can just take off the flowers

A bottle citristrip doubles the cost of the floafers... Is there a cheaper brand or something? I would share with someone. I'm in Brooklyn.

It's the same light blue as the inside. The color doesn't show up so well in the picture.
