My old speakers made noise, a dull staticky noise so I bought new speakers and the same thing is happening. Could it be the wires attaching the speaker to the computer? What can I do for it?

Are you sure it's coming from the speakers? Could it be the fan?

it comes from my speakers as well from time to time
is the cable that connects the speakers to the computer an ecxact fit
try taking it out and putting it in again- usually works for me

Computers have fans to keep them cool. Sometimes you can hear them run. You can test if it's the fan: When you hear the noise, shut the volume and see if you still hear it. If you don't, then it's not the fan.
