Yes- it's excellent quality.
I have family in the jewelry wholesale business and they say the same.

I’m very happy with my Costco jewelry. I think it’s superior quality for a great price. If you aren’t happy you can always return!

I don’t know if a watch counts as jewelry. It’s nice but not like diamonds nice. But when my husband bought me a watch from Costco on a whim I was delighted. I’m wearing it right now and so far so good.

I've heard their quality went down in recent years.

It is well known that if you buy diamonds privately, you get a lot more bang for your buck. I.e. it will be appraised for a lot more than you paid.
Now if you go into a commercial store (Zales etc) you will probably be appraised around the same amount as what you paid.

Your question is where does Costco fall into this picture? I don't know. My guess would be somewhere in between private and commercial.
I would be curious to hear from people who bought fine jewelry from Costco and had it appraised.

I know the guy who sells to Costco, he’s huge in the industry and known for top quality, sells to very high end jewelry companies too. From the most Ehrlich people in the business.

Is that more - meaning you got good value for your money?

Do they sell diamond earrings? I have none and my child is getting married...

They do! Studs and hoops
I have studs and I love them. Classic classy and timeless. Can wear them day to evening.

This is helpful. To those who had it appraised 1.75 - 2x, how many years ago did you purchase?

Also, personally I would worry that there's a range of quality for Price within their stock items. I am no jewelry expert, so how would I know if I am getting good value for my money?

Sure! I want something on the ear (a post big enough to cover my stretched earhole) but also a little dangle. Lightweight as my earlobes are small. Price about $1000-2000. Ideally I only care the gold should be real, but the local stores sell them with real diamond chips, and they cost much more.

Thank you!
