There are little devices that do it - do a google search for "convert cassette to digital" - I once bought one - I used it for a few cassettes but didn't find it very user friendly - I often ended up getting the second side of the tape coming out before the first, etc, and it took me a long time, but maybe that's just cos I'm not so technical.
You can probably find people who do this for pay too.
I know people who have converted old family video tapes to digital, I guess it's the same kind of thing.

I know that gal Paz in Jerusalem used to do it. Check a music store in your area.

If you are in Brooklyn, there is a place on U and 26th that can do it.

If it's a commercially produced cassette, be sure to check if there's a digitized version already available. That's often the cheaper option. However, if it's a personal recording, probably worth paying to have it digitized.
