About the x-ray? Don't know I never did it. (yet)
Maybe get the book so you have clarity, or show it to him? There is a website too. I think they have info for providers that you can print out there (book definitely has such a section). Don't know if it's only for those who have the book or for public.
In the book he recommends to ask for a copy of x-ray on the spot, or at least take a picture of it, so first you have it and can show it to anyone who knows how to read for that. Later it can be hard to get a copy.
