Going anon because I just asked a bunch of people IRL but nobody knew the answer...
Does anyone know how the chase amazon visa card works?
most importantly, is it part of the ultimate rewards program, or are the points from this card just used for cashback?
I use the points I accumulate on amazon because it is so simple but I think you can get gift cards for other places. I don't because it is so easy to just use them on amazon.
Disclaimer that I don't really want to invest a lot of time or energy seeking the *best* credit card deal. I pay my balance off every month so interest is irrelevant to me. I don't need travel points so I even though I have other credit cards I charge everything on this card because it is easier - my mortgage and credit card payment are both due the same day and I pay for them on line in 2 minutes or less. Nothing to think about and when I have points I use them for my next purchase on amazon.
