Tell it to them, not on here. It accomplishes nothing besides for potential lashon hora.
If you have an issue with a store, address it with them instead of starting a smearing campaign.

I’ve called them numerous times about it. Many of my family and friends did as well. They don’t care I guess.
Nothing loshon hora about it. It’s a great store. The smell is public property and they don’t seem to mind that many customers are avoiding the space for now.

Thanks for reporting the post 🙄🙄🙄. I thought if we make a public petition it’ll help.

It’s weird because I don’t notice the scent. I just randomly start feeling choked up and I’m never sure if it’s because the place is scented or because someone nearby is wearing something I’m allergic to. But I certainly don’t spend much time in a store if I’m struggling to breathe. Why do stores do this?

You plug it in and a scent comes out of it every 30 or so seconds. There are a few different scents. It smells like light perfume or whatever. Many stores use it lately and people aren’t too happy about it. Hence the op starting a post…

Why not post here? Even if owner of the store not on here, somebody will show them eventually. Same as writing in one of those ad magazines. A way to get the message across that we customers DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW TREND!

There’s a grocery store in Williamsburg I can’t step into because of the scentify or whatever they use. Everything in the bakery section has a taste of it too, and flour and other similar stuff is permeated with the smell. It’s horrible.

I guarantee you that opening threads about them, wouldn't stop it. If it bothers you, don't go in there.

Just curious how you can guarantee it. Maybe it's low possibility, but I can see it happening. The owner, relatives, or close friends can be on here and give over the information. It's not an impossible thing.

have you ever been to [ a different store]? I have something from there and I smell the scent every time I take it out.
