So now I finally get floafers and they’re already out? My kids will not be happy.

aah, no wonder why the floafers were on sale. Finally thought my kids would be up with the times for once theyve been begging for floafers. Wait until they realize.

I find the scathing remarks on this thread so interesting. Anyway, I think they’re really cute. Going to buy a pair for my son now.

My kids don’t even wear sling back style on shabbos. I want their feet to be supported and there are so many other pretty styles to choose from. I can’t see myself buying these things.

I saw them at local stores, they don't look supportive at all. I can't imagine kids being able to run around or jump around in them without tumbling to the ground.

I take it back, I googled and they look like nice slippers for wearing to the pool. It’s not a shoe, irs more of a water slipper. I’ll wait to see how they work out for everyone this year though Smile

I think 42 dollars to walk to the pool is a little much.....

I think they are kind of cute and look trendy. I don’t think I made any scathing remarks.. I was just commenting on the expensive shipping and returns.. too high of a risk for mw to order and they not work..

There's a certain mindset, in some communities that if an item is the latest fashion, it's automatically cute.
Personally, I think it's sweet for little kids, but looks rather impractical.

I feel defeated because I just got the cheap floaters first time for my daughter, and thrilled to finally be in fashion. It's annoying to see everyone jump into the next fashion bandwagon.

Btw I live in Lakewood and my kids are dressed fashionably for the most part

I don't think many kids will be wearing them this season.

oooh thanks for the link OP, I just ordered. are you getting commission? lol.
I signed up for emails which gets 10% off first order. Its a bit expensive but I think it looks cute and useful. if it doesnt fit I'd try to sell it to a friend rather then return.

Where do u live? Local stores in tri state area sell them, it's safer to go try on for sizing.

My older kids only really wear floafers/natives to the pool. Or as a slipper, if they can’t find their shoes. They aren’t running around in them instead of sneakers.

The price is similar to floafers and maybe there will be sales. Like I said I’m not buying them this year. I never like to be the first to anything.

I wonder if these would be good for narrow feet! Natives don't fit my kids.
