I have curly hair and I'm thinking of getting it professionally straightened. I've heard of pro-addiction, Japanese straightening and some more. Anyone has any recommendations or has done any type of straightening?

Just putting out there that recently in the news it came out that these treatments can cause ovarian cancer. I'd look for more natural options.

I like to do keratin maybe once a year. It doesn't straighten, it relaxes it so it's not as poofy.
