I'm looking for a robe for 10 year old that has no smocking or gathering, no waists or shirring. Dd is beautiful and large and needs straight up aline styles. We've looked around and are coming up dry this year. Any ideas? Size 16-18 (or larger, depending on if it runs like Chinese sizes).

Unfortunately I bought their robe last year and it shrunk 2 sizes after washing in cold water and hang drying, so their largest size 16 will never work.

Lulu has a great selection of the style you're describing. And they run big. Use the size chart to measure.

They're too gathered at the top and make her look larger.

I saw one with lace trim that my daughter doesn't like. Another with buttons in front that she said is not her style. π

Thank you! Are there stores in Brooklyn that carry this so we can try on for size? This is a brand I don't know so don't know if their 16 runs true to size and would fit.

Maybe you can try contacting then and asking for retailers in bklyn. Good luck!

Thank you both! Unfortunately Brits largest size is 14 and Lil Legs is sold out of 16 (which may be too small anyway). π

Brits sizes run big. Bought this for all my kids ages 5 - 12. very roomy fit
