Hi. Desperately looking for a recommendation for an excellent psychiatrist in Stamford Hill/Golders Green area for very difficult teen DS. Please only recommend if you have first hand knowledge or are very sure about recommendation. Would love some details about what makes him/her excellent and any other helpful details.

Have you tried Rabbi Yaakov Barr? I believe he is a psychotherapist and runs his own organisation called JTeens.

Contact RELIEF (a jewish community organisation in gg), that is what they do. One calls them, says what the issue is, age, gender, religious outlook….. what type of therapist one is looking for considering all the details. They have a list of well over 100 therapists that they have interviewed and assessed and they match the client to the therapist.
