Got about 30 large packages of onion rings. I'm assuming this was an honest mistake by whoever organized this chesed but...
What do I do now?

It's not pesach yet and assuming it's sealed packages it didn't affect anything. You can eat them before pesach or give them away

First contact the organization and let them know. Others may have received them and not realized they are chametz and they need to send out a notice.
Then eat them now. You still have 2 weeks that is one per day for 2 people-definitely a manageable goal.

These are not individual snack bags. These are large bags. Will try giving to shul for kids who come to learn. I doubt they'll want more than 10 bags.
I guess the problem is that we don't sell chometz and the in the last 2 weeks is when we try to finish everything as opposed to stocking up on chometz.
The other issue is that I expected actual pesach food...I'm surprised and the choice of food the org is giving out. Im surprised

You'll make the neighborhood kids very happyif you give it out!!!
(In the summer when shabbos is later I bribe the kids to pick up garbage in the yards and give out a treat afterwards! I'm happy with the clean neighborhood they're happy with the nosh, win-win!!)

Are you sure they're chometz? Check the bag. There's kosher for pesach onion rings.
(Though why do they give 30 large bags per family? That's insane.)

Call them first. They might have been given the wrong product and can exchange.
Then use and/or give away in good health.

Big bags are big but not that big. For a large family, not too ridiculous. (OK, a little. Who has space?)

I was assuming they were the fake onion ring chip type things, not bags of frozen onion rings, but who knows! Still a lot of onion rings! 😂
