Hi,
Currently work in lakewood as a Medical biller, but I think I need a career change.
I have almost 3 years in medical billing experience, but I really don't enjoy it.
Looking for a job that I can work from 9-3 that has some sort of social atmosphere and the work is not so stressful.
Anyone have any ideas of what I might be able to do?

Thanks!

I'm sorry to say this but most jobs that are low stress and not career pathways or require specialized skills and/or degrees will not be enough to support a frum family.

Do you like working in the medical field at all? If so, it might be worth it to take a short course or an accelerated associates in some of the allied health fields. Stress is relative but you're not going to be making life altering decisions and with the technology there's little room for error. Plus you'll be on a team with other health professionals.

Flexible and social can also be real estate, but if your market is flooded, it can be stressful. Also requires some sort of licensure requirements that aren't too rigorous.

Not sure if it's feasible as I know nothing about requirements, but perhaps you can transition into being an office manager? It might pay enough but more stress.

My mom was a legal secretary and worked up to being in one of the top firms in the world and made a very nice salary, benefits, retirement, with no degree. Typing 130 wpm got her in the door there. She loved it and didn't find it stressful at all.

Do you know how to sew, hem, etc? The seamstresses I know rake it in within the jewish community. You're working alone but you meet clients, talk with them, etc.
