Why do you self clean twice? Isn’t self clean once enough to kasher for pesach ?

I just loosely and carefully press in some paper towels, making sure they are easy to remove in one piece.

I already told her to never again spray there but I feel like hiding it from her and not let her use it. She washes my oven weekly and never rinses it well enough, it always smells from easy off when I turn it on. I'm afraid I'm getting the chemicals into my food. |
CLEANING WITHOUT ST MORITZ OR EASY OFF
This is why I stopped using easy off, no matter how much I rinsed, that chemical smell lingered.
I spray oven with half vinegar/half water very well.
I put two 9 × 13 pans half filled with water on
Shelf.
I turn oven on 450 for 30 minutes. I open oven a few
Times and throw some water on bottom of oven.
The steam loosens the dirt.
Turn off oven, open door for 10 minutes to cool.
Wearing gloves, clean oven using #2 coarse steel wool dipped in baking soda. Also a pan of water.
Wipe down with paper towels.
No worries of dangerous chemicals in your food.

Instead of using a shmatte to wipe off the cleaning agent I spray down the whole oven off with plenty of water with a spray bottle. Yes, a lot off spraying but all soap comes off without wiping. I collect the dirty water in a dustpan with a small squeegee.

Do you make a paste of the water and Baking soda?

I dip the steel wool in water, then dip it in baking soda.
No need to make a paste.

If I had to use easy off, I would get the paste that
You just brush on certain spots instead of spraying
All over.

Wish they still made that. They don't.
