I went through my freezer to see what I can use up before Pesach.
I defrosted a mini beef pastrami. It's all waterlogged.
1. Can I still use it?
2. What would I do with it? How would I prepare it?

It's probably not going to be very good tasting on its own.

I would probably do something equivalent to pulled beef and use for BBQ sandwiches.

You would braise them in something like a good BBQ sauce or other strongly flavored sauce with flavors you like and that would disguise that the meat isn't top quality.

It would be safe to eat - just not that good after being frozen so long.

If you’re making a potato kugel you can mix it into the batter. Yum

Hi.. or you can shred it with carrots, cabbage and celery, onions and stir fry it snd then put in an egg roll wrapper and fry it like an egg roll and dip it in sweet and sour duck sauce 🥰
Enjoy snd have a beautiful Shobbos ☺️
