Price of oil for pesach this year

I have NEVER seen passover oil prices this high. $17 a gallon for vegetable oil. OOT here
Curious if prices are the same in Lakewood or Brooklyn

And I was thinking walnut oil is cheaper this year. I think I saw it advertised as 11.99 in gourmet??? Don’t remember for sure. But it had been in the $20 range other years.

They have it on sale now yes. Also 15.99 olive oil from gefen. KrM as well

Bingo has olive oil 7.99 for 2 liter.

The high price of oil isn't only pesach it has gone up like crazy.

Extra virgin olive oil doesn’t need KLP acc to the OU also FYI

I didn’t go shopping for pesach yet, but you’re scaring me because we get our pesach oil from the states and it usually almost double.

That’s the only oil I use for pesach. I buy the Filipo Berrio, which doesn’t change the price just because it’s pesach.

DD just bought from Lakewood Matza bakery, I almost fell over when she told me the cost.

I went yesterday to check out the prices. For 96 ounces of cottonseed, 15000 pesos which is about $50. Surprised

Evergreen monsey is $25.99 for 96 oz of walnut oil and $20 for 96 oz of cottonseed oil
