I also had surgery to remove gallbladder, with complications. It is not as scary as it seems. Recovery is b"h short, and I had a six week old nursing baby when I had mine out. I will keep you in mind, it should all go well. Hatzlocha and Refuah Shleima!

Refuah Shleima, and don't worry, I've had the same thing and recovery is short. Anesthesia is no fun, but if they give you the good stuff you wake up groggy and it's all over and today they only use good stuff in the western world....
Better to have it out, then you won't have to worry about that kind of problem anymore...if you want more info feel free to PM me, regarding anything having to do with gallstones, bile ducts, gall bladder removal and diet necessary afterwards etc.

Refuah Sheleimah

I'm another one who no longer has a gall bladder.

I hope it comforts you to see how common the procedure is. I had mine out over 10 yrs ago laproscopically and the recovery was pretty easy, so if it was 10yrs ago they have to have gotten it even better now!
