If you are a therapist in NYC and work with many different patients, how do you bill? If a patient is only approved for individual therapy, can you work with other patients at the same time as the first patient and then bill for each patient individually? If you do pt or aquatic therapy, can you work with a bunch of people at the same time but then bill each patient as if they had their own individual therapy? If you are allowed to work with multiple clients at the same time and bill individually for each client as if you saw them separately then do you notify your patients that they will be working in a group format with other people even if they are only approved for private one-on-one therapy? Does it matter if they have different insurances which may include medicaid and private insurances? TIA
