No cost of living there is much higher than where I live and I'm sure the schools will be raising tuition now that they know all parents are receiving 8k.

I wish we could think about it, I’ve been wanting to move for years. However, for multiple reasons, we are staying put.
Just FYI, the cost of living there is very high. Housing, groceries….

Im too much of a midwesterner. If I left my state and was looking for warm weather id pick texas or arizona over florida. Even Ohio.

Yes, schools raised tuition for next year here in South Florida. The $8000 is true but school just raise their tuition.

Can you please explain? Because I'm considering Texas or Arizona but being a NYer I'm scared of the heat.

I feel like Florida is a lot of NYers and I am very much not. Im just used to to a different culture. Any way I can describe it will sound good in my head and probably come out badly.

If I'm already gonna pick myself up and go through the process of moving and relocating I think I'd choose Israel. I know it's much further than FL and involves so much more of acclimating to a different culture but somehow it just feel more right for me than moving to Florida.

And a lot of us do!
Not sure how these vouchers will work in Florida, but if similar to the Ohio vouchers (where if a family is income eligible the school isn't allowed to charge them the remainder of tuition) I can assure you that tuition will definitely increase as it has for us.
