where can I find?
that doesnt smell off that is not hard and wont ripen even after days in paper bag indark cupboard,
just good quality tasty avocados.

Buy only Haas avocados, and make sure skin is black and has nice bumps (the hard green ones don't seem to ripen).

So hard to find in London. We were only able to find ones that had these brown stringy things. So frustrating. I’m guessing since they don’t grow anywhere near Europe so they have to spend weeks on a ship. I was legit going to smuggle some in a suitcase but dh was afraid to be held up at customs.

I dont touch the green ones ever.
I am talking about the hass- cannot find good ones.
they are expensive and they taste off even if they are not moldy and the flesh is green.

The US. We have great avocados here probably coming from central/South America or even the south of US I’m not so familiar. But they’re good

I love avocados! If I lived in a warmer climate I would plant avocado trees. Unfortunately, they don't thrive in the Tri-State area.

Be careful cos a lot of the avocados 🥑 in the shops at the moment are Israeli- I saw in Sainsbury’s today.
