Was there a boy born after?
I heard this third hand (no clue if there is a source) that if someone has a daughter Yael the next one will be a boy.
Thinking of the Yaels I know with no second name, that seems to be true, but I don’t know many. Curious if this is true or made up.

Hmm the yael I know is twins with a girl. I guess I need to find out which one was born first. There were no children born after that though.

Yes, actually haha. My DD Yael, no second name, was followed by 2 boys.

I wouldn't attach any significance to it though. Statistically, about half the people who have a Yael, no second name, will have a boy after.

My granddaughter is Yael with no 2nd name. The baby after her was a boy.

My friend has a Yael. I don’t know if she has a second name. I know she went though SIF specialness after and she is an only child, now in shidduchim.

I know a Yael. She has like 7 sisters after her.

My sister is Batsheva. My parents were told the next one would be a boy if they chose that name… well it took 4 more tries to get it right…

In the yael books the baby after is a girl...I guess this means that it doesn't always work...obviously this is the best proof possible!

This is like in the times of the neviim when a bas kol would come out and say "a boy will be born, his name will be Shmuel and he will be a navi" so everyone named their kid shmuel and Chana named her son shmuel and he became a navi!

My 2 year old has a Yael in his gan.
Her mother just gave birth to a boy last month.
