eier kichel recipe calls for one cookie sheet.
I have a small oven. cookie sheet measures 11 inches by 9 inches.
I need to spread less of the mixture.
what is the size of a regular cookie sheet so I can adjust?

The underside of the sheet is 11.5 x 16.25 (the bottom where the food goes- not the upper lip).
If you turn it upside down you can measure to fit 2 '9x13' bases (again their base where the food goes would fit, not the outer extending lip).
So just split the batter between 2 of your size pans.

thanks. the surface thats what I needed.
what do you mean by turning it upside down?
I can only use one 9.5 by 11.5 tray in the oven.
it wont work to divide in 2 cos the regular cookie sheet is not double the size. surface is only 7 inches bigger

Just use as many trays as needed. I've used wtvr is on hand when needed. You probably will just need four trays not two. The trick is to do it thin....

The bottom base of a 9x13 is actually 7 3/4 x 10 1/8.

Don't be confused. 2 9x11s will work for 1 standard cookie sheet

My recipe calls for two cookie sheets that's why I said 4.
It's really no big deal just use as many as it needs to finish the batter....
