So,
I take a lot of medicine, and I have trouble swallowing most of them with water. So I take them with baby food pears.
Where I live, there is no baby food for pesach this year.
So it seems I will have to make it myself.
I need it to be a puree consistency.
How do I do this?
Can I do it just by boiling pears or do I need a food processor for pesach (I don't currently own one) or do I need an immersion blender (also don't own) or a regular blender (don't own.)
If I need any of these appliances, I'd need to purchase them asap.
Please let me know.
It would be ideal if I could make it just a pot.
PS. I find the consistency of pesach applesauce not to work for me. But my husband suggested we buy that and then boil it to change it to more of a puree. Do you think that would work? It would save so much effort rather than making pear puree from scratch.
Please help!

If you want it totally pureed yes you do need something to make it that fine, immersion blender cheaper than actual blender.

I would blend very well and then strain or even triple strain. Add more water if you need to thin it
I don't think cooking up store bought applesauce will help. I do think pears will have a thinner consistency than applesauce.

Bake the pear till very soft. Mashes very easily with a fork after that. Put it in the fridge to cool.
