I just remembered I have a frozen (baked) potato kugel. Do I need to defrost it? Can I warm up as is? Covered? Uncovered? Add water? Oil?

Please advice, thank you in advance!

I usually bake overnight covered with a pan of water underneath at 225-250. I think if you would put it in now it would probably be ready by shabbos

I stick a fully frozen kugel in to the oven every friday morning at 350. Let it defrost for 3-4 hours covered and then I usually add a half cup water or so and lower to 250 for another hour or 2, but you can eat already then.

If you want your kugel to taste fresh - preheat to 350. Once preheated, remove kugel from freezer. Pour hot water and oil over it so the whole top is wet. Bake uncovered for an hour.
