I'm thinking about opening an online bank account and am a little nervous. CIT (not Citi) and Alley have decent interest rates. Is anyone using them? Are they safe? Are you happy? How's the customer service? Can you get your money when you need it? Thanks for your feedback!

Yes we use CIT and getting great interest rates

I’ve had accounts at CIT for years. Just as safe as any other FDIC insured bank.

What are the interest rates for each bank?
I’m getting 3.5% for a savings account from capital one. Can I do better?

Yes. Marcus is currently 3.9%

I’ve been using ally bank easy to use and never had an issue. Rates are pretty decent now but they fluctuate with economy .
