so I am collecting my t-shirts that I laid out to dry and on one of them, I find a disgusting gauzy white nest.
It is fully enclosed. Inside are a ton of teeny white kind of flies, and near them is a large lump of something, I did not have the stomach to inspect further!
What could have happened? mold? spiders?
maybe I put it into the folding basket before it got totally dry and something formed there?
It was horrible... my dh scraped it off, should I wash it or throw it out? ( was my fave black t-shirt...)

wow - who built a nest ... how long haven't you seen this "favorite black t" ...
did they make it holie - I say if all is gone wash & wear ... if not - well I'm itchy just thinking about it

nope, no holes... only a disgusting sticky gauze nest.
I haven't worn it in a week, cuz I am basically only wearing white ones now...
I threw it into the machine... hope it comes out wearable!

It will probably turn out fine.  They don't stain or anything. Add some vinegar to the wash to disinfect.

I had that once, I found a cacoon on a lycra tshirt of mine. I washed it but never did end up wearing it again...
