That 928 people are on imamother right now and not registered guest.
They may be non Jews, men, kids, people in China.
Why are so many non members interested?

Do you know how many times I’ve been scrolling and realized when I want to post that I’m not signed in?

Even if that’s true for a part of those people it’s definitely not all.

For sooo many Jewish related questions, if you Google it, imamother comes up on the first page. For example I just tried googling some random ones - "challah won't rise" and "vacation ideas with minyan" and imamother is one of the top results for both of those. The other day, while looking at my baby's hair in his eyes, I googled "cutting hair before upsherin" and again imamother was a top result. Lots of people are here from searches and just trying to read a specific thread.

I almost always read the public posts before logging in to reply or to see posts since my last visit. I can't be the only one. As for "outsiders" reading the site, that's why you should be careful what you say on the publicly-visible forums. You should even be careful on the login-only forums, because the "entrance exam" is not so difficult. We've had people join who were male, not observant, etc. IDK about completely non-Jewish but I'd imagine a nonJew with knowledgeable Jewish friends could manage.
What do you have against people in China? Do you know that in Korea they study Hebrew and Talmud? They believe it sharpens the mind.
Why are they interested? Because Jewish is different, therefore fascinating. Why do people visit Amish country, native American communities, Colonial Williamsburg, foreign countries? Because they're different, therefore fascinating.

I was wondering if she’s talking about a 10 year old or an adult.
Relax. We’re all anonymous, what’s the big deal?

Why do you find it creepy that non-users are reading, then?
I don't see why it matters. This is the internet, a public website. If you care about how something would represent who you are to the world, it would likely be best not to post.
