I found a package in my freezer. Was thinking of making a Pasta dish with the ground beef smashed in it and adding a sauce. Would that come out good with extra lean meat? Any other ideas of what I can do with it?

I always use extra lean ground beef. Whatever you would normally make.

Perfect for tacos or meat sauce, so you don't have to drain the fat.

use it like regular ground meat. Meatballs, Sloppy Joes, anything... super versatile. Stuff peppers or squash, or make cabbage soup with it. it literally is the most versatile protein in the kitchen.

also:
meat loaf
meat lasagna (if you've never tried that you'll be surprised how good it is, and actually easier to make than a traditional lasagna. Just brown meat and mix with sauce like you would for pasta, and put that between the layers, can also add sauteed veg on top of meat at each layer)
and for Shabbos, browned meat mixed with seasoned rice and raisins/craisins stuffed into peppers
