OOTer here coming to visit for a few days - which restaurants do you recommend for lunch and supper? For lunch, I'd love places with fast, healthy food. For dinner, I'm looking for fleishigs and not too expensive (not looking for a steak sit-down). Thanks!

Lunch:
Fish Grill - not super quick at preparing, but delicious, fresh, and healthy
The Upper Crust on Kennedy has great salads
Dinner:
We LOVE Pita Hut!! (they rebranded as PH Grill or something like that) Authentic Israeli food

Lunch-
PANINI cafe and fish grill are my favorite
Kava
Josef and David (smoothie, salad type)
Good old bagel nosh- yum!
Dinner-
Mikes chicken (only takeout- bear that in mind)
Nostalgia is delicious
Chinese and American cuisine on 2nd street in Lakewood is best Chinese locally inmho
Heard new place taquito on Clifton is also great but haven’t yet tried
Bun burger has best burgers in town
I think I gave you enough choices 🤪

Cookie Corner!! Amazing cinnamon buns and other baked goods (they also have a regular menu which I haven't tried)
I love French Press for coffee and great pastries. Kava mentioned above also has good coffee and they also have a drive through which is nice.

Bakeries-
Cookie corner is a must!!
Korn bakery is just basic and good
The most decadent and heavenly Babka is from Shloimy’s Bakery in the grebow shopping center in howell (in the amazing savings shopping center)
Ice cream-
Best low key and cost efficient ice cream in town is in Westgate plaza - Yismach Yisroel
(I think they are THE ONE AND ONLY place in town that makes a banana split!)
A lot of ppl love Avery and jays. It’s definitely unique and very rich a decadent. Also pricey.
Most of the Rita’s locally have cholov Yisroel options so that’s a nice treat if you’re makpid….
Can you tell I’m a foodie??! 😂

It's in the Kikar Shabbos plaza (4th and Monmouth)
Assuming it's the same family but don't know for sure
