Moving to Monsey soon and I am looking for a suitable high school for my teenage daughter. Not chassidish but more of a mixed yeshivish /heimish style, focusing on bringing out the creative side to my child rather than too heavy on academia.
My daughter is open minded and needs somewhere that she can be herself in terms of being able to ask hashkofa questions, feel comfortable with the teaching staff etc.
A school that will look at my daughter for who she can become and give her opportunities to thrive in a warm environment.
Does anyone have any leads?

There’s a new school just for your type I think it’s called ahavas beis yaakov. Don’t know contact info.
You can search any schools number on line and call them and see how it is.

Good luck getting into a high school for next year at this point

Ahavas is great but as far as I know more to the left of Bais Yaakov. Definitely not heimish…more similar to Breuers.

I think Bais Yaakov Shiras Miriam is what your looking for. I Have relatives in BYSM. Seems very warm, has a few heimish students, a bit out of town feel... Super school.
