I need a new one for weekdays. They’re so easy to clean. My dining room table is family central and used all week. I can’t keep a cloth tablecloth on it, or leave it bare. It will get destroyed. But no one sells them anymore that I can find except Closeout Connection and I don’t like those. Any ideas?

You can go to a store that sells upholstery material and buy pleather by the yard. Or you can simply throw a big flat sheet or two over your tablecloth and leave it there all week. That's what I do.

I guess an upholstery store is the next step. I didn’t want it unfinished but I guess it will have to do. Any suggestions where?
A flat sheet definitely won’t work here, I will just have to wash sheets along with the tablecloth more often. I want material that withstands spills.
Thanks for responding!

Mine has pen mark all over it and I don’t find it easy to clean.
I tried various methods to take it off with no success. I wonder if there’s a trick I haven’t tried yet? I did hair spray and all basic cleaners.

Try Soft Scrub without bleach.

Thank you! That color won’t work but I’ll check out the website.

I don't know if it's quite that you're looking for (I know the frum ones are $$$ and I haven't seen them in person so I no don't know what makes them worth 85$,), but I like this vinyl one: homing Heavy Duty Waterproof Vinyl Tablecloth – 60 x 104 Inch Washable Table Clothes for Rectangle Tables, Thick Table Cover for Party, Holiday, Picnic, Outdoors, Black https://a.co/d/iccGX2v

It comes in several colors and has held up well. I wash in the washing machine occasionally.

I bought fake leather material and brought it to the cleaners to finish it. It cost a LOT of money and, like an above poster said, it's hard to clean.

I used to have a faux leather tablecloth, but it was too textured and hard to clean.

I switched to smooth vinyl ones. They are easier to clean and cheaper to replace. For example, this one https://a.co/d/310ZMxV

Why can't you use the plain clear heavy vinyl table protectors or Messed-back vinyl tablecloths sold in most housewares and variety stores? The patterns are usually on the loud side but so what, this is for everyday use, not for your Shabbos tish, correct?

Yes, but it’s the center of my home and I still want it to look nice.
Thanks to all who responded, I am going to check out the links.

That was supposed to be flannel-back, not messed-back.

Thanks, I'm going to give one of these a try and see how it is. It's certainly a lot cheaper...

Thank you, it's a tad too short but this and another poster's recommendation led me to find some possible options.
