there aren't any with a hechsher. you have to get the tapioca and make them yourself. it's a lot of work.

I’ve always wanted to try boba tea! I’ve never heard that the pearls don’t need a hechsher. Will definitely look into this!

The Targets near me are out of it, but I tried at a Stop and Shop and this brand didn't have a hechsher on the box.

Am I missing something here? There was so much hype around it and I finally tasted it and it was kinda gross.

I liked it right away. Did you have ready made blavk boba pearls in a sweetened tea, or were you trying something that wasn't fully prepared yet.
Twice I had someone's homemade boba tea, and wouldn't say it was gross but didn't like it. Once the boba tasted like not fully cooked bread dough. The other time it was just kinda tasteless and gummy.

I'm also confused about this. I found Bobabam but there's no hechsher

update - just spoke with OU it needs to have a hechsher and they are in the process of getting certified. Some runs already have a hechsher
