I’m going to be taking a 2 hour flight with my one year old on United Airlines. Will I be allowed to bring a couple baby bottles of milk on the flight?
I’m assuming yes but maybe I should do something to make sure they’ll let me through?

Yes allowed. You remove them for separate scanning when you go through security. That's it.

Totally and you can even bring closed water bottles as long as you tell them it's for the baby

Basically anything goes for a baby. Just leave yourself a little extra time for security they usually need to check the liquids separately.

That reminds me of a story, almost 30 years ago. I had my baby out of the country and came home with a 3wk old baby.
I forgot to remove the cookies we had brought along on our flight. Custom agent looks at my bag, sees the cookies and said: "that's cookies for the baby?!"
I did not condradict him!!
