Does anyone have their menu? I realized today that shavuos is in two weeks!! I need to get moving! Anyone have good ideas?
We do one dairy meal, that’s pretty much the same every year. Sea bass, other fish, lasagna, something else….also I don’t really make desserts.
Looking for dairy, meat, and parve ideas.

I do one dairy meal as well. Fish, zucchini, potatoes, lasagna, blintz soufflé.
Dessert is cheesecake. We also have a lemon cheesecake mousse recipe everyone loves. I think Miriam Pascal.

Red and yellow peppers cut in strips.

You can add green jalapeno if you like the heat.

You can add slices of garlic too but I don't usually.

Add oil, splash of vinegar and salt and roast for about 30 mins.

Place peppers with it's juice when storing.

I wish I wrote it down. I created the recipe myself in the winter and we loved it.
I had bought a mushroom gnocchi dish from R Cafe in Monsey and liked it and tried to create the same idea . This is the idea, I’m sure if you do an online search a simple recipe would pop up that you could tweak.

Boil gnocchi according to package instructions , drain and set aside

Sautée diced onion and minced frozen garlic add in fresh sliced mushrooms like cremini /baby Bella , sautee . Add some flour to add as a thickener (so not too much) .Add onion soup mix . (Not sure if you need salt. Taste to see. It may have enough from the soup mix and cheese)
Slowly add heavy cream and stir until the cream starts to foam a little or right before it boils. Make sure it’s not too liquidy . Add Haolam or something similar , Grate parmesan cheese. (You can add some shredded mozzarella if you’d like too) . Pour cream over gnocchi and stir well. And sprinkle a nice amount of parmesan cheese again.

Very easy
I use the small flaky squares
Defrost a log of gefilta enough so it’s workable with. Doesn’t have to be totally defrosted.

Put some into each square, fold, egg, put sesame seeds if you want.

Bake (I never remember how long for)

Serve with a squirt of chraionaise (I just mix some mayo and Chrain myself

My kids love this yom tov treat and most people can’t tell that it’s fish.
