I’d it was covered well and in the back of the fridge, definitely. We eat leftovers it after 6 days. I double cover (in Pyrex) with foil and the airtight lid. I cook for shabbos on Thursday night and we routinely eat the leftovers (by choice) on Wednesday

The USDA recommends cooked chicken be refrigerated and eaten within 3-4 days, so Tuesday would be the last day to eat it.
