Just want to point out that I have a friend who hired someone to pick colors for her and she was not happy at all.
They will often recommend colors "in style" which you have to look at everyday for the next 10 years, not necessarily colors you like.
Colors is very dependent on your and your husband's taste!
(I suggest looking at your friend's houses to see what you like and what you don't)

Just my two cents - grey doesn't look good in real life. It photographs beautifully, which is why it's all over the internet, but living with it is downright depressing.

Also, when choosing a paint color, it's important to see how the paint interacts with the light in the room at different times of day. For example, you probably use your kitchen most during the day and your bedrooms at night. Try out the colors then.

Last but not least, paint is the last thing to pick in a decorating project. (I obviously don't know where you are in your plans, so just consider this a PSA.) Choose a rug, if you're using one, then furniture, then window treatments, and then paint. There are a zillion shades of paint to choose from, so you're definitely going to find something to match.

Good luck.
