What's a reasonable amount to give as a couple for a MO wedding?

Depending on circles in the 5 towns/teaneck we give around 350-500 typically give that but for family 500- 1800 /siblings a bit more like 3600
But really whatever is comfortable for you 100+ or a nice gift wrapped nicely works too

Out of town, 150 per couple is standard, any more is generous. Many give 100 too.

Is this in addition to gifts people buy on the gift registry?

For those who don't buy that approximate amount from the registry.

Check if they are registered anywhere. That's your best bet. (Too bad Bed Bath and Beyond is going under!)

I wish registries would catch on in the RW world. They're such a good way of getting the couple things they actually need, and there is usually a variety of price points.

Anywhere from 100 to 500, depending on how close you are. If you are very close (or very rich) you give more. Less if you don't go to the wedding.

I live in northern NJ. Haven't been to a wedding in a while but I would think 150-200 (180 sounds good), more if we're close. If I'm not going to the wedding I'll pick a registry gift for under 100.
