I didn't realize that yet... and I don't see that my children do everything the way I did. That's okay with me. I prefer that they also develop minds of their own.

Her mother a"h, was best friend with lhbd'l my mother. We were in the same class from kindergarten and up, and still are best friends.

Truthfully, in general, I'm not sure about best friends forever because life has its surprises, and someone who you like .... can turn her back on you one day. It happens.

Around 2, and it still is a big nisayon but I've sorta gotten used to it.
But my dear father z'l sudden passing when I was in my teen years surpassed even that nisayon - it was a major shock and pain, and I still miss him even though a few decades have passed.

Never!!! I used my parents card when I was single, and then when I got married and moved to NY my husband gave me his car and got a new one. The next time he got a new one, he gave me the used one again. After that, it’s been leasing a minivan….it’s been a lot of years of leasing a minivan
