anyone ever tried using a maternity support belt? anyone know where I can find one?

I used one when I was highly pregnant, and found that my back felt better. I got mine at Motherhood Maternity.

I found that it pressed on my bladder too much and was terrible. but I'm short (5 feet) and if yo're taller it might help you.

I was massively pregnant (DS ended up being 10.3lb) and couldnt walk! The maternity belt didnt make walking easy, obvioulsy, and it wasnt so comfortable, but it made walking a possibility.

The Surgical Sock Shop in bp has them, and depending which insurance you have, u may be able to get one for free. ask your ob to write up a prescription for it.

I got mine at mimi's. it wreaked havoc with my stockings (the velcro kept catching on them & making huge snags), but at least I was able to walk upright.

Thank you so much for all your replies. I am growing so big and feel like my stomach is about to fall over. I'm also suffering from lower back pain- so I think I will try using a belt. By the way, is it possible to sit while wearing it? it doesn't roll over?
