Sounds like you have a netted rolled chicken roast that looks like this.

You can rub with oil, lots of salt and spices, cover and bake at 400 for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Then set oven to broil, uncover and brown for a few minutes.
If you're adding vegetables around it, it may take a little longer.
