Did you already have the c-section? If not, may I suggest you ask your dr if he'd be willing to put it in during the csection? was a game changer for me. insertions were nightmares.

Yes. 2 years ago to be precise. You are scaring me. Should I skip the iud and stick to other methods?

Dr. Brall- from bpobgyn. Inserted Iud after 5 sections. Takes Fidelis. He’s very good.

I'm not in NY so can't advise with doctors, but same situation and I had mine put in under anesthesia and using ultrasound guidance. Highly recommend

I had two. First was put in hardly felt it. Years later when I had to change it it was stuck. Dr Brall removed & put new one under Anesthesia. I felt he was very professional.
