I left 2 dozen raw eggs out overnight by accident. Is there any chance they are still ok to use?

In most countries they are not stored in the fridge at all.
Except maybe in preparation for a recipe.

Totally fine
In Israel the grocery stores don’t even keep eggs in the fridge

They're fine! Many people don't keep eggs in the refrigerator.

OP where do you live?

Eggs are washed in the US for sanitization purposes but that also removes the protective barrier that minimizes the need for refrigeration.

Having said that, your overnight eggs should be fine...

Funny, because I bought two 18 pk cartons yesterday and also forgot to put them in fridge last night.

Pesach, I always keep a package out all day long because we use so many eggs. Like what everyone else said, they are fine.

In America they do because of how they are processed.

This is what I have always understood -- in North America, they should be refrigerated for long storage. Supermarkets wouldn't take up valuable fridge space if they didn't need it.

Pesach I never refrigerate my case eggs. They're totally fine the entire time

Same. We order a case of eggs and it’s out of the fridge for more than a week. No issues. Before Pesach the stores keep the eggs out of the fridge too.

Overnight is for sure a non issue

Correct
They are usually located close to dairy items and somewhat in a cool area.
I always store them in the fridge at home.

Years ago I once got eggs for free Smile
It was in August, I was on my way to bring
out the trash. It was in a green large container which was very full of plastic garbage bags but no crazy smell. Neatly someone has discarded almost a whole tray (size of tray is 30 eggs). Exp. date for fridge was the day before.
The eggs were 100% fine.

I'm in America but I did recently leave eggs out overnight and keep them. I figure they're still hardy enough to last that long.

One night without refrigeration should be no problem at all. I have had to do this many times before a Yom Tov due to lack of refrigerator space. No one ever got sick.

I live on the East coast in the US and do not keep my eggs in the fridge-never had a problem (I do try to keep them out of the ‘hot-spots’ in my kitchen).
