Parents and inlaws never got anything for me.
For my first they both chipped in for bigger stuff I needed like crib and carriage.
But for my other kids they either bought a stretchie or nothing. I don't expect anything.
Reading this thread though I see how nice it would be to get something for the new mother.
As a boy Mom I'm making a mental note for when my teen boys will get married iy"h.

I would not suggest this for Israel this time of year. Will be months before she can use them, if at all.
