I’m the designated “just in case” packer for my circle. I pack a fold out toiletry kit with the following:
-Tylenol/Motrin
-Pepto/Imodium
-allergy meds
-any prescriptions you/your kids take
- tampons/pads
-Clear nail polish
-makeup remover and qtips
-lip balm
-hand cream
-small clear hair ties
-full size hair ties
-Bobby pins/French pins
-double sided hem tape
-sewing kit and thread to match brides and family’s’ gowns
-extra white, clear, or fabric covered buttons
-extra contacts and solution
-eye drops
-nail glue (yes, even if no one has glue-on nails. You’d be surprised how useful it is)
-nail scissors and a file
-tweezers
-bandaids
-spray deodorant for ladies and men (spray so multiple people can use it)
-toothbrush, toothpaste, mini mouthwash, and disposable flossers
*Most of this will overlap with what you’d take on a long trip or to the mikvah, so if you keep your travel toiletry bag loaded/you’re 90% there*
Pack a box/bag with:
-snacks
-real food or order to the hall/eat before leaving
-CLEAR OR WHITE gatorades or drinks
-a portable steamer
-a tichel/snood for you AND the kallah (in case she wants to take her hair down before heading home)
-extra socks/tights/underwear/yarmulkes for little ones
-mini marshmallows or smarties for kids who will need to be bribed through photos
-small toys/books for little ones
-Miss Mouth’s messy eater stain treater (way better than tide imo)
-extra long phone chargers
